Adam Trinklein
I’m a double major in mathematics and marine science at UC Berkeley, with the long-term goal of earning a PhD in math. While I’m still exploring the field, I’m especially interested in graph theory, social choice theory, and population dynamics.
I’m currently a fellow with Better Choices for Democracy, where I research and promote consensus-choice voting and advocate for electoral reform. My work sits at the intersection of mathematics and civic engagement, applying social choice theory to practical challenges in democratic decision-making.
Outside of academics, I enjoy creative and physical pursuits that keep my brain and body challenged. I'm currently learning new art forms like silkscreening and woodturning. I spend much of my free time training for triathlon.
Ultimately, I hope to contribute to both mathematical research and education while approaching my work with creativity, curiosity, and a commitment to social impact.
